Italian Kitchen and Table Linen

The Bertozzi family has been making woodblock linens for many generations.  Their passion is seen in the beauty and intricacy of the designs.  It takes a master craftsman to be able to lay down a woodblock that has a perfectly even distribution of color and then repeat that process dozens of times on say a tablecloth and achieve the same uniformity of color with each stamp.  Only certain employees are allowed to stamp the multi color patterns since they require an organization and timing so that the dyes aren't too wet or dry when they go over with the next color.  Indeed the type of eye motor coordination involved is much like that of a professional athlete or musician.  Given the skill, time, and effort to make these products, the Bertozzi's are absolutely fanatical in seeking out the best linen and cotton fabrics in the market.  Thankfully, we still have such traditions to counter the shoddy disposable products that often hide behind overly promoted brands.  We are therefore proud to support the Bertozzi efforts here in the United States selling products that are literally the best of their kind in the world and still at a price that is affordable - in fact given their durability alone they are far more economical than the cheap throw away product you typically find in stores today.
