How do the Bertozzi linens wash up?

The stamping technique, the fabrics, the dyes and the steam setting process combine make these about the most permanent prints you will ever find.  We have washed them in bleach and hot water and found that there is no perceptible impact on the linens.  We wouldn't advise washing them every time in bleach but every once and a while to freshen them up.  Also, the cotton and linen are the best available in the market so they can be used and wash for years without again any noticeable thinning of the material.  As for stain removers, we use spray and wash.  Of course realize that if you don't treat stains quickly before they set and in the right way you risk permanently setting a stain!  For example, use only cold water on chocolate not hot!
