Roderick and Francesca opened their original store Italian Country Antiques and More LLC d.b.a. Italian Country Home and Kitchen back in 2005 in Woodinville, WA (recently moved to Bellevue, WA). Their philosophy was to offer high quality and long lasting product - "Buy once!" at the best price. To do this, they go direct to makers that have little to no presence in the United States thus eliminating middle people. Also, as an Italian born and raised, Francesca seeks out products that she knows well and is proud to sell to her customers. She of course has known all her suppliers for many years and in some cases relationships predate their business. The current extension of the business through www.italianlinenstore.com is in part a reaction to all the demand they are receiving from across the country for Bertozzi linens. They of course recognize too that many people just don't have the time to visit stores and as a result rely on internet shopping. Therefore, they wanted to create a quality site with a quality product to meet those customer needs.
